  • Debt-for-Climate Swap: Turning Debt into Climate Action

    Environment Group, together with Global Factor and supported by UNDP, developed Armenia’s first debt for climate swap concept. The assignment covered debt portfolio and legal analysis, design of financial and institutional frameworks, and preparation of over USD 200 million in project proposals.

  • Transition Towards Electric Mobility

    Environment Group assisted the Ministry of Environment in implementing Armenia’s electric mobility strategy. The assignment included development of an EV charging infrastructure map, procurement strategy, and policy recommendations to support the country’s transition to cleaner transport.

  • GCF-Armenia Country Cooperation Program

    Environment Group supported the Ministry of Environment and the Environmental Project Implementation Unit in developing Armenia’s Country Cooperation Program for the Green Climate Fund’s second replenishment round (2024–2027).

  • Deposit Refund System for Beverage Packaging

    Commissioned by the EBRD and implemented with the Ministry of Economy, Environment Group conducted a national feasibility study on introducing a deposit refund system for single-use beverage packaging. A parallel study was completed with the Lithuanian Environmental Agency for glass and plastic containers under the Fund for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.

  • Kotayk and Gegharkunik Waste Management Project

    The Environment Group supported the Kotayk and Gegharkunik Solid Waste Management Project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the EU Neighbourhood Investment Facility and the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P).


  • Pilot Management Plan of Emerald Site Armash

    Environment Group provided consulting services for the development of ecosystem services, supporting the Government of Armenia in advancing biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resource use by developing ecosystem service valuation methodologies and establishing a framework for Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) in Emerald sites.

  • Feasibility assessment of sustainable infrastructure group


    Environment Group provided consulting services for the implementation of environmental and social audit and assessment.


  • Feasibility study on introduction of the deposit refund system for single-use beverage packaging in Armenia

    Environment Group provided consulting services for the implementation of environmental and social audit and assessment of the Deposit Refund System in Armenia.

  • Sustainable Infrastructure Feasibility Assessment (EBRD)

    Under an EBRD assignment with AtkinsRéalis and HCL Consultants, Environment Group carried out environmental and social assessments for the State Tax Service’s Yerevan and Syunik customs and logistics centers.

  • Deposit system for glass and plastic beverage containers

    Environment Group assisted the Government of Armenia with a comparative legal and technical analysis for the design and phased implementation of a Deposit Refund System (DRS).

  • Development of GCF-Armenia country cooperation program replenishment round

    Environment Group served as the primary technical consultant to Ministry of Environment, preparing Armenia for the Green Climate Fund’s (GCF) second replenishment round, established the national strategic roadmap for climate action.

  • Vedi without plastic: EU heritage day

    Environment Group experts provided consulting services for the organization of the EU event for the ‘Celebration of European Heritage Day’ within the “Vedi without plastic” campaign.

  • Environmental and socioeconomic assessments for the Preservation of Wildlife Assets

    Environment Group aided this project by preparing the preliminary environmental and socioeconomic impact assessments for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC)’s Sevan ecosystem project.

  • Facilitation and support of Armenia's largest private reforestation and afforestation project

    Environment Group provided consulting services for the development of 4000 hectare reforestation and afforestation project.


  • Environmental and Climate Guidelines for the Green Investment project

    Environment Group supported Credel LLC in the development of a reforestation initiation of 240-hectare by researching and establishing a comprehensive environmental and climate framework and guidelines.

  • Support implementation of Debt for Climate swap in Armenia

    Environment Group’s own Erik Grigoryan, a key figure and authorized representative in Armenia’s Debt for Climate swap has used the innovative financial initiative aims to reduce Armenia’s external debt by redirecting debt services towards high-priority national climate projects.


  • Assessment of the potential for application of incentive mechanisms for double secondary water use in Armenia

    Environment Group Studied and identified the economic privilege/ incentives of double (secondary) water use by water users, possibilities of introduction, and application of such incentives in Armenia.


  • Supporting the implementation of electric mobility strategy

    Environment Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and supported by international partners such as Global Environment Facility (GEF) and UNEP,  provided strategic  consulting to accelerate Armenia’s swap to low-carbon transport.

  • Development of NDC (Nationally Determined Contributions): Implementation plan for Armenia

    Environment Group acted as the sole consultant for the UNDP, leading the development of the official Implementation Plan, Investment Plan and Financing Strategy for Armenia’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) 2021- 2030.

  • Feasibility study for the modernization development of Kyrgzhydromet Project

    Assigned by World Bank, Environment Group contributed to the Central Asia Hydrometeorology Modernization Project (CAHMP). Environment Group worked alongside CAI consulting firm as specialized sub-consultants.

  • Legal and Regulatory Analysis of Natural Resource Management in Armenia

    Environment Group identified risks and compliance requirements while conducting analysis related to natural resource management. Working with UK-based consultancy firm ERM.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC RISK ASSESSMENT OF E-WASTE (SOLAR/EV)

    Environment Group, in association with BDO Armenia, was commissioned to assess the environmental, regulatory, and socio-economic risks associated with end-of-life solar panels and electric vehicle batteries.

  • TSITSERNAKABERD URBAN GREEN RESTORATION & CLIMATE-RESILIENT IRRIGATION PROJECT

    Environment Group acted as the Sole Consultant for the Armenia Tree Project, leading the technical and financial groundwork for a major urban infrastructure project in Armenia.
