ERIK GRIGORYAN
Founder and CEO
With 20 years of diversified experience at the forefront of Armenia’s environment sector and currently holding the esteemed title of Special Envoy on Debt for Climate Negotiations. Grigoyan has pioneered Armenia’s environmental landscape, pursuing Armenia’s first ever debt-for-climate swap with his new business venture, Environment Group. As the former Minister of Environment in Armenia, alongside other merits such as Member of the IPBES Bureau, and Chair of Financial & Budget Working Group, Mr Griogoryan is working at the intersection of climate policy, sustainable finance, debt for climate swaps, and international environmental cooperation, improving Armenia’s environmental policies day by day.
Angel Tevatrosyan
Project Office Manager/ International Lawyer
Corporate and venture capital lawyer and full time project office manager at Environment Group. Ms Tevatrosyan has a background in climate and energy policy support and legal work supports the work at Environment Group, she was recently awarded the Best Sustainability Manager award at the Project Management Award 2025 for her contribution to the Kotayk & Gegharkunik Integrated Solid Waste Management Programme.
Camille Bann
Key Expert
With over 35 years of experience working in sustainable development, Ms Bann joins Environment Group as an independent environmental economics and policy consultant.
Hayrapet Hakobyan
Key Expert
Currently working with the UNDP, Hayrapet works as a facilitator of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) implementation in Armenia. With over 10 years of experience in the climate industry as well as working alongside the former Minister of Environment, Mr Hakobyan is a valued member of the Environment Group team, providing expert knowledge of governmental policy frameworks and results-based management.
Simon Pow

Mr Pow is the senior project manager in the waste regulatory reforms directorate. With an MBA in change management and natural resource management, Mr Pow joins our teams as a valued expert.
karen Mukhysan

Currently working at AMSTERA PROPERTVIES B.V. as the Swiss office director, Mr Mukhysan previously worked as the leading special and Head of Department of Territorial Development and Environmental Issue, working the the Republic of Armenia office for over 15 years, providing financial-economic research and analysis and his expertise in project planning.

Currently working at Ameria Management Advisory as a consultant, Mr Safaryan joins the Environment Group team as a public policy expert.
Gayane Atoyan
Key Expert
Gayane Atoyan PHD is an expert in environmental law and policy. With over 15 years of international experience, Ms Atoyan has had a far reaching and impactful career, working with UN agencies, government institutions, consulting firms and contributing to relevant academia. In addition to teaching MA-level Political Economy of Natural Resources and Environment at Eurasia International University, Ms Atoyan assists Environment Group as an expert in Stakeholder Engagement and Gender.
Artak yergenyan

Current co-founder and managing partner of AMSTERA PROPERTIES B.V. Mr Yergenyan is an international expert in public finance and policy development, providing legal and policy advice for over 30 years. Working for the World Bank, Mr Yergenyan has assisted the Environment Group as an expert in international finance and legal frameworks for all of WB’s regional waste management projects.
