Supporting the Implementation of Electric Mobility Strategy in Armenia:

Environment Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and supported by international partners such as Global Environment Facility (GEF) and UNEP,  provided strategic consulting to accelerate Armenia’s switch to low-carbon transport. EV ensured this project aligned national policies with international green transition goals, designing a framework that is sustainable for an e-mobility ecosystem.

What we delivered:

• Environment Group supported the drafting of Armenia’s national e-mobility strategy and developed policy recommendations to incentivize shifting from combustion engines to electric power.

• Developed a roadmap to facilitate the EV charging infrastructure, identifying the locations to reduce range anxiety.

• Produced national consumer guide to electric vehicles to educate the public on benefits of electric- powered vehicles. 

• Conducted an in-depth analysis of existing transport regulation to introduce new transport regulation to Armenia.
